1. Contractual Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("the Client", "User") and Check My Electrics Ltd ("Company", "We", "Us"). By submitting photographs, accessing our website at check-my-electrics.co.uk, or purchasing a remote visual assessment, you unreservedly accept these Terms in full.

2. Nature of the Service

Check My Electrics™ provides a professional visual review of property electrical installations conducted remotely by qualified UK electrical assessors.

• Visual Assessment Only: Assessor observations are strictly limited to features clearly visible in the photograph submissions provided by the client.
• No Physical Testing: No physical testing of live circuits, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, RCD tripping times, or cable integrity is performed.
• No Statutory EICR Status: Our report is an early-stage advisory document and does not constitute a statutory Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) or BS 7671 certification.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all submitted photographs are clear, unaltered, accurately portray the target property, and captured safely without opening live electrical enclosures.

4. Limitation of Liability

Check My Electrics Ltd accepts no liability for defects, hazards, or non-compliances that cannot be reasonably identified from digital visual photographs, or for hidden concealed wiring within walls or floor voids.

5. Payment & Non-Refundable Policy

Assessment fees are processed securely via Stripe. Due to the immediate allocation of professional electrical assessment resources upon upload, fees are non-refundable once photographic analysis has commenced.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
